Last updated: 11 August 2026

FYP Body & Mind (“FYP”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your information when you use the FYP Body & Mind mobile application, website, booking services and other services provided by us.

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how your information is handled, please contact:

Email: info@fypbodyandmind.com

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use our services, we may collect the following information:

  • Your name

  • Email address

  • Telephone number

  • Account or profile information

  • Booking and appointment information

  • Information you voluntarily provide through forms or enquiries

  • Loyalty and rewards activity

  • Device and technical information such as device type, operating system and app version

  • Usage and analytics information relating to how the app or website is used

  • Communications you send to us

Where payments are available, payment information may be processed securely by the relevant third-party payment provider. FYP Body & Mind does not necessarily receive or store your full card details.

2. Camera Access

Certain features within the FYP Body & Mind app may request access to your device camera.

Camera access may be used to allow you to scan QR codes, including QR codes used as part of the FYP loyalty or rewards system.

The camera is only activated when you choose to use a feature that requires it and after the necessary device permission has been granted.

FYP Body & Mind does not use camera access to continuously record you or monitor your surroundings.

Images or video captured by the camera for QR scanning purposes are not intentionally stored by FYP Body & Mind unless a particular feature clearly tells you otherwise.

You can disable camera permission at any time through your device settings, although QR scanning features may then stop working.

5. Our Legal Basis for Using Your Information

Under UK data protection law, we must have a lawful basis for processing personal information.

Depending on the circumstances, we may rely on:

Contract: where processing your information is necessary to provide a service you have requested, such as creating an account or managing a booking.

Consent: where you have specifically agreed to something, such as certain marketing communications or device permissions.

Legitimate interests: where processing is reasonably necessary to operate, secure and improve our business and services, provided those interests do not override your rights.

Legal obligation: where we are required to process or retain information to comply with the law.

You can withdraw consent at any time where consent is the legal basis being relied upon.

6. Bookings and Third-Party Services

Some services available through the FYP Body & Mind app may be provided using third-party platforms.

For example, booking functionality may be provided through Setmore. Information you provide when making or managing a booking may therefore be processed by Setmore in order to provide that service.

The app itself may also rely on third-party technology providers, including app hosting, infrastructure, analytics, notification and technical service providers.

Where a third-party service is used, that provider may process information in accordance with its own privacy policy and its contractual obligations.

We only aim to share information that is reasonably necessary for the relevant service to operate.

7. Payments

If payments are available through our app, website or booking system, payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider.

Payment providers may collect information such as:

  • Your name

  • Billing information

  • Payment method

  • Transaction information

Your full payment card details are generally handled directly by the payment provider rather than FYP Body & Mind.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with trusted third parties where reasonably necessary to operate our services, including:

  • Booking providers

  • Payment processors

  • App platform and hosting providers

  • Email and communications providers

  • Analytics and technical service providers

  • Professional advisers

  • Authorities or regulators where required by law

Third parties are only permitted to process information for appropriate purposes and subject to applicable data protection requirements.

9. International Data Transfers

Some technology providers may process or store information outside the United Kingdom.

Where personal information is transferred internationally, appropriate safeguards will be used where required by UK data protection law.

These may include recognised adequacy arrangements or approved contractual safeguards.

10. How Long We Keep Your Information

We only keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

The appropriate retention period may depend on:

  • The type of information

  • The service provided

  • Whether you continue to hold an account with us

  • Legal or accounting requirements

  • Security and fraud prevention requirements

  • Whether information is required to resolve a dispute

When personal information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to securely delete or anonymise it.

11. Marketing

Where permitted, we may send you information about FYP Body & Mind services, promotions, classes, offers or updates.

Where consent is required, we will only send marketing communications after you have agreed to receive them.

You can unsubscribe or withdraw your consent at any time.

You can also contact:

info@fypbodyandmind.com

to request that we stop sending marketing communications.

Service-related communications, such as booking confirmations or important account information, may still be sent where necessary.

12. Push Notifications

The FYP Body & Mind app may offer push notifications.

These may include service updates, booking information, loyalty information, announcements or promotional communications.

You can control push notifications through your device settings.

Disabling push notifications will not prevent you from continuing to use other available parts of the app.

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law provides you with rights relating to your personal information.

These may include:

  • Right of access: You can request a copy of personal information we hold about you.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact:

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
